Komen Race for the Cure Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach

The Seacoast team, Trish Conklin, Kathy Flood, Lisa Ledger, Jean Thomas and Sherry Walker walked for the Pink Tie Friends, a non-profit public charity formed of cancer patients, survivors and supporters who have joined together to make a difference along Florida’s Treasure Coast.

They provide financial support to individuals who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and who are uninsured or under-insured. The Pink Tie Friends raised $1,475 and $1,124,419 was raised for Komen South Florida at this event.

8th Annual Big lake Bass Tournament to Benefit the March of Dimes

Seacoast volunteers, John Macchia, Jerry O’Bannon, Christina Reynolds, Hattie Bennett, Melody Hodges, Linda Frost, Barbara Roti and Andrea Gregory-Pooley greeted the anglers at 5:30 a.m. and helped with the weigh-ins. The biggest bass weighed in at 5.53 lbs. They netted $600 to benefit the March of Dimes.

United For Families Vero Beach

The Seacoast team helped support the annual Stop the Tears 5K Run & Walk. Proceeds from the event will assist teenage foster children develop the skills needed for successful adulthood.
