Switch to Seacoast

Join the many customers who have made the switch to Seacoast National Bank! Just follow these steps and print the Organizer to track your progress:

  1. Select the type of account you want to open. To review different account types please click here.


  2. Apply for your new Seacoast account
    • Complete the personal online application by clicking I accept at the bottom of the page.
    • Phone our Telephone Banking Center at 1-800-706-9991
    • Visit any branch office where a customer service representative can help you open your new account.
  3. Change your automatic payments and deposits to your new account.


  4. Close your old account
    When all automatic transactions have been switched and all outstanding checks have cleared, use our Account Closing Form to notify your old bank to close your account and send you a check for the balance. Be sure to destroy checks, ATM/Debit Cards and deposit slips from your old bank.

Here's what to expect next:

  • Seacoast National Bank's Customer Service Center will review your application for completeness. We may telephone or email you for additional information if necessary.
  • A Deposit Account Agreement & Account Disclosure will be mailed to you for your information, along with signature cards for you to complete. These must be signed, notarized and returned to our Telephone Banking Center, along with your opening deposit (if applicable).
  • Your account will be opened within 24 hours from the time we receive your signed signature cards and your opening deposit.
  • Your account number, checks, ATM or Check Card, and Internet Banking information (as applicable) will be mailed to you as soon as possible (generally within 10 business days of your completed application).

Application Process & Disclosure Information

  • Government regulations require that we make the following disclosure available to you when you apply for an account with Seacoast National Bank.


  • Please read the disclosure statement(s) relating to the account(s) for which you are applying.

  • We encourage you to print a copy of any and all disclosures relating to the accounts for which you are applying and save for your files. If you prefer, we can mail you a copy of your account disclosures. Simply call our Customer Service Center at 1-800-706-9991 and we'll be happy to assist you. Or, you may e-mail us and request a copy of the disclosures be mailed to you.

  • If your application is submitted online, you will receive a confirmation screen outlining the "next steps" to expect in opening your new account with Seacoast National Bank.
