Seacoast Bank's Local Banking Story

Nearly a Century of Commitment to Service and Community

Starting from our humble beginnings in 1926, Seacoast Bank has emerged as a pillar of financial resilience and community service. Our founder, Dennis S. Hudson, Sr., established our institution with integrity, drive and a strong work ethic. Our values have not only helped us through the Great Depression but also made us a leading bank today.

For over 90 years, we've expanded from Stuart, FL to a large network of banking branches throughout Florida. As we grow, we still remain a local bank that knows and serves our customers' needs well. As we've expanded, our commitment to simplifying banking and investing in the communities we serve has remained strong.

From our move to Stuart during the credit scarcity of the 1920s to our current position as a leading financial institution, the story of Seacoast Bank is marked by strategic growth. Our timeline is filled with milestones reflecting our innovation, from introducing cutting-edge banking technology to expanding into new markets and service areas.
